George "Danny" Atterberry

George Daniel Atterberry, 72 of Sherwood passed away January 26, 2025. “Danny” was born in Little Rock on January 20, 1953 to the late George and Mary Ellen Sperry Atterberry.

Danny was a “hippie” at heart, enjoying music, playing guitar, and listening to the music of Jim Croce, Earth, Wind and Fire. He liked to hunt, float the Buffalo, hike and almost anything outdoors. He attended Friendship Baptist Church, and worked for Americo Bakery and Greystone. Danny was loved and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Atterberry. Survivors include a sister, Mary Pacheco; nieces and nephews and their families: Kathy Ann Haralson (Robert), Keith Leftwich (Toni), Dakota and Brenden Leftwich, Julie Ann Moore (Stephen), Mia and Grayson Moore; step-children: Connie Ann Bryant (J.B), Kimberly Rogers (Rickey) and Jennifer Seats (Dewayne); 8 grandchildren: Josh, Tara, Whittney, Brittany, Brandon, Rikki, Kelsey, Allison; and 10 great-grandchildren: Brooklynn, Blakely, Braxton, Bree, Braylin, Cameryn, Kylee, Haze, Dane, and Cade.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 PM, Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, North Little Rock, AR. www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
