Geoffrey T. Hardin

Geoffrey Thomas Hardin, 62, of North Little Rock passed from this life on July 26, 2023. He was born on September 23, 1960 to William Lee Hardin and Betha Avants Hardin Foley.

Geoff was a smart and stubborn person, and despite the trouble he got into; he was a member of the National Federation of the Blind as an associate and transcriber of Mathematics Braille with the National Library Service for the Blind and Library of Congress. He translated maps and novels; it was stated his translation was the best. He was an artistic dreamer who enjoyed drawing, writing short stories, poems, novels and loved to read.

He is survived by his brother, Gregory Hardin and niece, Britney Hardin. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gerrell Hardin, nephew, John Hardin, grandmothers, Floy Avants, and Myrtle Henry, great-grandmothers, Alice Bland, Maude Hardin, and Ella Hainley.

Visitation will be at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home on Monday, July 31, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by a small graveside service for the family at Edgewood Memorial Park, 4200 Division Street, North Little Rock, AR.
