Geneva Fern Powell, 84, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on October 23, 2019. She was born in Owensville, Arkansas to the late Frank and Marie Garrett.
Geneva was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and working in her flower beds. Most of all, she loved her family dearly.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 54 wonderful years, Billy D. Powell; children, Karen Powell, Benny Powell (Tammy), Teresa Bagley (Ronald), Jerry Grant (Tracey), Barbara Mosley (Buster); grandchildren, Ryan McDonald, Amanda Jolly, Heath Powell, Mitch Powell, Misti Halter, Leslee Bagley, Grant Bagley, Jerri Lynn Thomas, Jill Cato, Jessie Grant, Sammy Grant, Briton Mitchell, Keith Mitchell, Andy Mosley, Amanda Bradey; and numerous great- grandchildren and other extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death her parents, son, Doug Grant and brother, Richard Garrett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Counseling Clinic, Attention: Ty Crutchfield, 110 Pearson Street, Benton, Arkansas 72015.
Geneva will be lying in state Friday afternoon, October 25, 2019 at Smith Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 28, 2019 at Owensville Cemetery on Highway 5. Per her request, please dress casual.
