Geneva E. Hall, 97, of Jacksonville went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. She was born June 17, 1921 in Cabot, Arkansas to William and Jessie Abbott Loux.  She was a charter member, past music director, and longtime Sunday school teacher at Bayou Meto Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Annette Rogers and her husband Wayne; grandchildren, Amanda Harrell and her husband Ricky and Jerry Rogers and his wife April; great-grandchildren, Courtney Paige, Caitlyn Anne, Geneva Shayne, Lena Ann, and Cullen Wayne; nieces, nephews and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jeffrey Oran Hall; brothers, Homer Loux and Jerry Loux; and her sisters, Ruth Jackson, Erkle Smith, Flora Carmical and Eva Lee Jones.

A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Bayou Meto Baptist Church.  Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 25, 2019 at the church. Burial will follow in Sumner Cemetery.
