Geneva Elrod

Geneva Elrod, 91, of Lonsdale, Arkansas passed away March 16, 2022.  She was born May 3, 1930 in Benton, Arkansas to the late Nep and Florence (Willis) Johnson.

Geneva adored her family.  She was always involved in the PTA and served as the homeroom mother while her children were in school.  She enjoyed sewing, camping, and fishing.  Geneva was always a lady and was always willing to help anyone in need. 

Preceding Geneva in death are her husband of 60 years, Odell Elrod; parents, Nep and Florence Johnson; siblings, Margaret Fischer and Willard Johnson; son-in-law, Michael Faulk; and daughter-in-law, Glenda Elrod.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children:  Mike Elrod and Michelle Faulk; grandchildren:  Jeff Elrod and wife Sherri, Lora Doss and husband Tracy, Brooke Davidson and husband Darren, Brandon Elrod and wife Ashley, and Logan Faulk; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Robbecke and husband Sam; and many extended family members and friends who love Geneva and will miss her always.

Graveside service, officiated by Bro. Bobby Shell, will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 23, at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the cemetery.
