Gene-Paul Cruise, 58, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009, in Ft Lauderdale, FL, of a heart attack. He was born on Friday, April 13, 1951, at Bethesda, MD, the son of Eugene M. & Robinette Patterson Cruise.
Gene-Paul received his GED and attended Broward County (FL) Community College. He had worked at various occupations, including erecting and servicing electric and other signs, and driving a frozen food truck. He loved motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons.
Survivors: mother, Robinette Cruise, Gurdon (Clark Co., AR); a half-sister, Jean Diane Cruise Lee (Clifford) of Greensboro, MD; uncle, Allen James Patterson, Turlock, CA; cousins: John S. Patterson (Becky) of Parker, CO; Philip A. Patterson (Karen) of Costa Mesa, CA; Mary Diane Patterson (Mike Aliamus) of San Jose', CA; and a special friend, Susan Enloe of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Memorial services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 7374 Hwy 51S, Okolona, AR, on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 10 am. Interment of his ashes will be held at Dobyville Cemetery near Okolona at a later date.
