Gayola James

Gayola Ferguson James, 80, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019. She was born March 29, 1939 in Searcy, Arkansas to Gaylord and Blanche Ferguson. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, retired from Pulaski Bank and Mortgage Company and enjoyed playing pool, bowling and dancing.

She is survived by her loving friend, and companion, James Dennis Hammons; and their three daughters:  Denise Hammons Stewart, Teresa Hammons Stuart and Tanya Hammons Crews; eight grandchildren; and twenty-four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; a granddaughter, and a great-granddaughter.

A visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Service and Interment will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 21, 2019 at Sumner Cemetery in Cabot.
