Gaylon Alexander "Alex" Hughes, 44, of Jacksonville passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2009. He was a member of Toltec Baptist Church and was a Pipefitter for Local 155 for 27 years.
He is survived by his wife, Jeni May Hughes, of Jacksonville; sons, Tyler and Tanner Hughes, of Lonoke, Clayton Hughes and Dustin May, of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Koby and Kaleb May; sister, Marie Lheureux and her husband, Ron, of Morris, Oklahoma; mother and father, Richard and Gladys Hughes, of Scott; mother and father-in-law, Addie and Winston May, of Jacksonville; and nephew and niece, Zach Lanehart and Rachel Lanehart and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his grandparents.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 2222, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Keo Cemetery in Keo. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
