Gary "Bud" Burnett

Gary “Bud” Verl Burnett, 75 of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on December 28, 2020. He was born November 10, 1945 in Beebe, Arkansas to James Earl and Beulah Burnett.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and two siblings.

Bud is survived by his wife of fifty years, Sibbie Burnett; children, Dale Dague (Tammy), Joey Burnett (Theresa), Shawn Sherrill (Vince), and Tony Burnett; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Bud founded Superior Concrete, NLR, and retired 2001. He enjoyed spending time hunting, showing his antique cars, and traveling with family and friends. His captivating smile and kind heart was known by many, never meeting a stranger. Above all he cherished the precious moments spent with those he loved. Bud brought so much joy and laughter to us all and will be missed dearly.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Parkinson’s Foundation .

Visitation will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 2, 2020 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, with a memorial service starting at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Private inurnment will be at a later date at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Cabot.
