Gary Brown

Gary Wayne Brown, 65, of Greenbrier, passed away September 10, 2015. Born and raised in Little Rock, he graduated from Metropolitan High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in Vietnam, serving in the First Calvary as an Airborne Pathfinder.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Emogene Robinette Brown and father, Raymond A. Brown, both of Greenbrier; daughter, Melonie A. Taylor of Maumelle; brothers, Jimmy R. Brown (Joyce) of Mansfield, Texas, Richard L. Brown and Michael S. Brown and sister, Marilyn S. Brown-Shock, all of Greenbrier; grandsons, Zane Taylor of Little Rock and Hayden Diehl of Conway; twenty-nine nieces and nephews; and special friend, Gary Simpson.

Gary's family wishes to acknowledge the employees of the VA, especially Kim, Joe and Melissa, and Arkansas Hospice for all they did for Gary in his final days.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 13 from 2-4 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Monday, September 14 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
