Gary Price, Sr.

Gary Edgar Price Sr., 79, of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away February 2, 2022.  Gary was born January 11, 1943 to the late Daisy (Carmack) and Felix Price.

Gary enjoyed working on computers and could fix anything! Gary loved his family above all else. People called him often for personal mechanical – and even personal advice.  He was the go to person when you needed to talk as he was a great listener.  He had a tendency to text his daughters about 20 times a day, just to check on them.  He would send his grandchildren silly night-time texts and emoji’s.  Gary adored his grandchildren and was always up to “shenanigans” with them, even though one of them called him “crap-paw”!  He enjoyed fishing, camping, trips to Mountain View and Branson with his family, and taking long drives in his truck. He always said “If you need me, I’ll be on the geezer bench”.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: Joseph W. Price and Ronald Dale Price.

Gary is survived by his wife of 61 years, Andrea Price; sons: Gary Price Jr. and wife, Wanda and Gregory Price; daughters: Laurie Ficker and husband, Scott and Christina Kirkendoll and husband, David; seven grandsons: Benjamin Price, Joshua Price, Dusty Price and wife, Caroline, Dawson Kirkendoll, Daxton Kirkendoll, Dalton Kirkendoll, and Darron Kirkendoll; two step-granddaughters: Allie Haught and husband, Jason and Emily Willis and husband, John Dale; great-granddaughter, Olive Price; 6 step-great grandchildren: Phoebe, Harlie, Hank, John Cole, Tucker, and Tate; sister, Shirley L. McAlister and husband, J.A.; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, friends, and one special fur-baby, Sadie that will all miss him dearly.

A graveside service, officiated by Danny Adams, will be held Friday, February 11 at 11:30 AM, with time of visitation held from 11:00-11:30 AM, at Cato Cemetery, 14000 Frenchman Mountain Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
