Gary Prather age 65 of Arkadelphia died Friday, October 5, 2007 in Little Rock. He was born September 26, 1942 in Ponca City, OK the son of Guy and Ileen Barthel Prather. Gary was retired from Anthony Timberlands and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Arkadelphia.
Survivors include his wife Peggy O'Bryan Prather, four daughters Tanya Hull of Arlington, TX, Carmen Freeman of Russellville, AR, Amy Edwards of Brentwood, TN and Karen Riddle of North Carolina, one sister Nova Nethercot of Oklahoma City, and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Sunday in the First United Methodist Church of Arkadelphia with Rev Carroll Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be to First United Church of Arkadelphia or the American Cancer Society.
