Gary Patrick

Gary Dale Patrick, Sr., 65, of Benton, Arkansas passed away July 19, 2019. He was born November 19, 1953 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to the late Ardell Autry and Goldie (Bradshaw) Patrick.
Gary was a strong, kind-hearted man. He would do anything for anyone and was willing to give the shirt off his own back. He loved animals and took in and fed every stray animal he found. Gary was so funny and was the life of the party-in fact, a party wouldn't start until Gary arrived! He enjoyed playing pool and spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and racing four-wheelers, motorcycles, and cars. Family was special to Gary and he loved spending time with them.
Preceding Gary in death are his parents; and sister, Linda Lewis.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his life partner and best friend, Ruthie Gentry of Benton, Arkansas; son, Gary Dale "Bo" Patrick, Jr. and wife Erica of Sheridan, Arkansas; two daughters: Shelly LeCompt of Sheridan, Arkansas and Jennifer Langley and husband Nick of Benton, Arkansas; grandchildren: Aiden Patrick, Bethanie LeCompt, J.C. LeCompt, and Liam Langley; great-grandaughter, Marleigh Nickols-LeCompt; two sisters: Rhonda Rogers of Mt. Ida, Arkansas and Rheta Bridges and husband Fred of Knoxville, Tennessee; many nieces, nephews, family members and friends who he adored and looked at and loved as his own family.
Graveside service, officiated by Stephen Rogers, will be held at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, July 24, at Summit Cemetery, 1204 S Summit Rd, Benton, Arkansas. Visitation held from 1:00-1:30 prior to service.
