Gary Don Hardage, 66, of Bismarck passed away Monday, Oct. 24, 2016.

He was born March 16, 1950, at Bismarck to Hayden "Honeyboy" Hardage and Sutah Holder Hardage.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Donald Ray, Benny Joe Sr. and Harold Dean Hardage, and a sister-in-law, Janie Rimmer Hardage.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Elaine Lester Hardage of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Melton and Marcie Hardage of Malvern; one daughter and son-in-law, Shira and Kevien Kelley of Malvern; three grandsons, Michael, Matthew and Micaiah Hardage of Malvern; one brother, Paul (Nancy) Hardage of Amity; three sisters, Donna McCloud of Bismarck, Norma (Troy) Cruse of Gifford, and Phyllis (Greg) Garner of Bismarck; his parents-in-law, Arthur and Evalene Lester of Oklahoma; one brother-in-law, David (Kathy) Lester of Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Gary began preaching the gospel when he was 11 years old and spent the rest of his life sharing the good news. He pastored churches in northwest Arkansas, Happy Hollow Full Gospel Church and Central Gospel Lighthouse in Malvern, and most recently, Beaton Church near Bismarck.

He was a faithful and greatly-beloved husband, father and grandfather, a wise and godly leader to his family, and he loved and was loved by a host of friends and relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 28th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Bro. Keith Pennington officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Oak Bower Cemetery.

The family will be at 418 Military Road in Malvern.
