Gary Hackler

Gary Wayne Hackler, 57, of Jacksonville passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Gary was a member of the 1970 graduating class at Metropolitan High School. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1971 and served for 9 years. He later joined the National Guard and served for 16 years. Gary was employed by Wal-Mart.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Naoma Lee Blossom. He is survived by two sons, Gary D. and Michael Hackler, both of Jacksonville; parents, William and Aubrey Hackler, of Little Rock; two brothers, Richard Hackler of Brazil and Wilson Hackler of Jefferson, Iowa; sister, Darlene Yarberry of Crestwood, Kentucky; and aunt, Bettie Gifford, of Morgan. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Yarberry and Rev. Gary Yarberry officiating. Burial will be in Cato Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
