Gary Elliott

Gary Raymond Elliott, 62, of Romance, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 23, 2018. He was born June 4, 1956 in North Little Rock, Arkansas, son of Raymond Elliott and Nell Warrick Elliott. Gary was a devoted father, husband, papa, brother, uncle, and so many other things to those who knew him. Gary was a pastor at White Oak Missionary Baptist Church. He loved being in the hay field, spreading the word of God, and spending time with his loved ones.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Elliott; son Joshua Elliott; grandchildren Sarra Richardson, Cheyenne Sanders, Abbygale Elliott and Kolt Elliott; sisters Sarah Combs and Shirley Cornwell; his brother Bill Elliott; four nephews, five nieces, and several great nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Raymond and Nell Elliott; his great nephew Brian Craig Cox, Jr.; his brother-in-law Billy Hodshire; and father-in-law Robert Hodshire.
Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2018 at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 110 Union Grove Rd., Pleasant Plains, with burial in Union Grove Cemetery.
