Gary Elder
Gary Elder, 64 of Quitman, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Conway Regional Health Systems, he was born on March 5, 1945 in St. Paul, Minnesota; he was the son of Clarence Elder and Lillie Ball Elder.
Gary was a retired truck driver, and a United States Army Veteran, and was a licensed auctioneer, who loved fishing, and was of the Baptist faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.
Survivors include a wife Patsy Elder, a daughter Kylie Bryant, a son Benjamin Elder, and a brother Larry Elder.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2009 at East Union Missionary Baptist Church at 20422 North Springlake Rd., Little Rock in Little Rock with Rev. Paul Roberts officiating.
Burial will follow the funeral service at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexander.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock.
