Gary Best
Gary Michael Best, 58, beloved son and brother, has departed this life peacefully to join his Savior. His family who remain will remember him for his generosity, his fun loving, kind and gentle spirit.
He was born in Little Rock on October 18, 1956 where he spent his early years and graduated from Northeast High School. He went on to attend Vanderbilt University and intern at Oakridge Laboratories in Knoxville, Tennessee. After college, he returned to Little Rock and worked with his father at Best Welding Company.
Gary always loved the west coast and for the past 20 years made his home in Seattle.
His grandparents, Henry and Linnie Best, Ruby and Dewey Whitfield and his brother, John Richard Best preceded him in death. His parents, John and Suzanne Best, his brother, Robert Whitfield Best, his aunt and uncle, Don and Billie Jean Brindley survive him.
The graveside service will be Monday, December 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park in Sherwood. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 4 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, 8300 Kanis, Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrew's.
