Garry McClellan
Garry A. McClellan, 59, of Cabot passed away Monday, May 24, 2010. He has been an employee of the Veterans Administration for 30 years, most recently as the Chief of Support Services. He was a devoted son, father and grandfather, an avid volleyball player, and loved water skiing and other sports.
He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis O. McClellan. Garry is survived by his daughters, Karri Boyd of Ward and Sarah Jayne McClellan of Cabot; son, Jason McClellan of Oklahoma; mother, Jewell McSpadden Overton of Lonoke; stepmother Iris June McClellan of Little Rock; four sisters, Etsuko McClellan of California, Jaquita Greenfield of Havana, Jacqueline Sherry of Mountain Home, and Karen Smith of Hazen; one brother, Robert McClellan of North Little Rock, grandchildren, Garrison Thompson, Bella Boyd, Kaylee McClellan, Josiah Boyd, Jason Tyler McClellan and Jacob McClellan; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
