Garry Creed

Garry Wayne Creed, of Prattsville, Arkansas was born October 19, 1957 in North Bend, Oregon and passed away at the age of 58, Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at his home in Prattsville, Arkansas.
Garry graduated from Prattsville High School in 1976 and then attended Ouachita Vocational School to be a HVAC Technician. He went on to own Creed's Heat and Air and served many customers in the central Arkansas area. He was a member of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church. Garry was a free spirit who worked his fingers to the bone to provide for his family. There was no job too big or too small. He loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his grandchildren. He was always there to lend a hand to those in need. He loved to have a good time. He asked that instead of grieving his loss, that friends and family celebrate his life, because he lived it to the fullest. He asked that everyone wear your boots and jeans as he wasn't a suit and tie kind of man.
Garry is survived by his wife of 34 years, Nancy Creed; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Robert Caldwell III; grandchildren, Destiny, Hunter, and Fisher Evans and Robby Caldwell IV; parents Wayne and Laura Creed; brother and sister-in-law Dee and DeEdra Creed, and their son Kevin; sister, Diane Quimby and her son Brandon Quimby all of Prattsville, Arkansas and her daughter and son-in-law, April and Keith Harkins and their children Marshal, Justice, and Haley all of Haskell, Arkansas; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and several good and close friends.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church, Prattsville, Arkansas. Services by Smith-Benton Funeral Home. Online guestbook: www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
