August 14, 2009, Garland Yancey of Vilonia, Arkansas, went to heaven to be reunited with his parents, William Yancey and Retha Moore Yancey. He is survived by his brothers, Charles (Glenda), Ben (Waneta), Harley (Paula) and Ron (Talatha); and his sisters, Margaret Thomas, Clotene Gauvey and Carolyn Bridges (AC).
A private service was held at old Liberty Cemetery at Conway. Pastor Joshua Bridges conducted the memorial service.
