Garland Key, Jr.

        Garland Key, age 84, of Texarkana, Texas passed away Friday, September 27, 2024. He was born August 27, 1940 in Prescott, Arkansas to the late Garland Key, Sr. and Aurtie Ruth (Lemons) Key. Garland was an evangelist, preacher, and a truck driver. He pastored churches all over the country. Wherever he drove his 18-wheeler, he would stop and spread the Gospel. Garland was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Pamela Jean Brown. 

        Left to cherish Garland’s memory are his children, Barbara Beals of Arkadelphia, Garland Russell Key of Caddo Valley, and Laverne Herring of Wichita Falls, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
