Froukje "Skippy" Cassady, of Cabot, Arkansas, was born October 8, 1929, in Arnhem, Holland to Cornelis and Else Kooyman. She died Wednesday, July 30, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William Henry Cassady. Skippy is survived by her son, Neil Cassady and wife, Roberta of McAllen, Texas; daughter Marsha Geissinger and husband, Gary of Lafayette, Colorado; grandchildren Christine Mauldin, Richard Morgan, Timothy Geissinger, and Ginger Geissinger; great-grandchildren Blake Bradley and Jacob Mauldin.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Please come dressed casually and wear red, white, or blue; those are the colors of the flag of The Netherlands. Her ashes will be interred with her husband at Little Rock National Cemetery.
