Freeland Omar McElhaney of Conway, Arkansas, was called by his Heavenly Father to his new home and new body on Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Freeland was born on August 7, 1959, in Beebe, Arkansas.
Freeland was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louie Bailey, Sr.; one sister, Juanita Evans; and one brother, David Gray, Sr. He is survived by his wife Michelle and three loving daughters, Heather, Kali and Jessica; one precious grandson, Haiden McElhaney-Shaw, all of the home, one son, Richard Kyzer of Jacksonville, Arkansas; three brothers, Louie Bailey, Jr. of Bradford; Charles McElhaney, Sr. of Tall Timbers, MD, and Allan D. McElhaney of Sherwood; two sisters, Shirley Haley and Lisa Evans, both of Beebe; many nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral services are to be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2009, at Beebe First Church of the Nazarene, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
