Frederick Gordon Kempf, 82, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2007. He was a retired Director of Computer Service at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri, a member of The Presbyterian Kirk In The Pines Church in Hot Springs Village, where he was active in the choir. He was also a member of the Park Hill Presbyterian Church in North Little Rock.
He is survived by his wife, Betty L. Kempf, of North Little Rock; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas G. and Lois Kempf, of Lake Sherwood Estates, Missouri and Stanley G. and Sharon Kempf, of Malvern; two daughters, Janice and John Chmielewski, and Linda Bennett, all of North Little Rock; sister, Jeanne Buesking, of Bellville, Illinois; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Jerrod Charles Kempf and a grandson, Adam Thomas Kempf.
Mr. Kempf was a strong and courageous man that was dearly loved by his family.
Memorials may be made to Christian Children?s Fund or Baptist Hospice.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 24, 2007 at The Presbyterian Kirk In The Pines Church in Hot Springs Village. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday, March 16, 2007 at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.
