Freda May Green Hill

Freda May Green Hill, age 72, of Glenwood, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022. 

She was born on November 5, 1949, in Kirby, the daughter of Harold Leo Green and Betty Dorothy Garner Green.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her infant son; her sister, Nancy Green; and her brother Gary Leo Green.

Freda was a Christian in her faith. She was a homemaker and loving mother. She enjoyed spending time with her family at gatherings, camping, and fishing. She was always cooking and baking. She made the best homemade biscuits and coconut pies. She played a mean game of “Dirty Santa.” She adored her grandchildren and in later years her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons and their spouses, Tony and Jennifer Hill, and Michael and Misty Hill; her daughter and her spouse, Tammy and Ross Farmer; her sister, Judy Kimmel; her five grandchildren, Dustin Holmes, Austin Holmes, Brandie Arnold, Justin Hill, Madison Hill, Blake Crawford, and Abbi Crawford; ten great-grandchildren; extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Woodall Valley Cemetery with Bro. Kyle Cowart Officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Glenwood.
