Fred Spears

Fred Eugene Spears, 88, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born April 15, 1925 in Madison, Alabama, to Jessie Robert and Katie Ruth (Whitt) Spears, and he died Sunday, March 23, 2014.
He is survived by brothers Jessie Spears, Richard Spears and Marvin Spears; sisters Mabel Bennett Ashcraft and Sue Gifford; sons Fred Gatewood, Gregory Spears, James Spears, Timothy Spears I, and Gary Spears; daughter, Honey Jo Spears; grandchildren Shawn Spears, Timothy Spears II, Shannon Spears, Joseph Spears, Christine Mcgee, Harley Spears, Brandon Spears, Lydia Spears, Rebekah Spears, Taylor Spears, Tyler Spears, Miriam Spears, Phoebe Spears and Elijah Spears; great-grandchildren Malakhai Mcgee, Julia Spears, Holden Kirk, Dontae Mcgee, Samuel Spears, Harmony Mcgee, Abigail Spears, Lucy Kirk and Zoe Spears; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents; wife Jean Spears; son Freddy Spears; brothers Jack Spears, Alvin Spears, Russell Spears, Leon Spears and Bobby Spears; and sister Thelma Williams.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with burial in Monk Cemetery.
