Fred Hooton
Fred L. Hooton, 66, of Searcy, Arkansas, was born October 7, 1943 at Jonesboro, Arkansas, to Ralph L. and Thelma L. (Babb) Hooton, and he died Tuesday, December 29, 2009. He was a Christian and member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Jesus Name Church. He knew how to love and was a great dad, grandfather and husband.
Fred is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Sylvia Hooton; one daughter, Deonnia J. Nichols and husband Todd of Searcy; two sons, Keith L. Hooton and wife Suzanne of St. Louis, Missouri and Kevin R. Hooton of Jacksonville; two grandchildren, Tiffany D. Nichols and Anthony S. Nichols; and one brother, Ted Hooton. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kenny.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2010, at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
