Fred L. Henderson, 68, of Little Rock passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016. He was born July 30, 1947 in Meridian, Mississippi to Fred and Minnie McGlothin Henderson. He was a member of St. Mark Baptist Church, served as Vice President of Twin Lakes Home Owners Association and was a Jackson State Alumni. Fred was a Biology and Physical Science Professor at Arkansas Baptist College.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Yvonne Henderson; sons, Frederick L. Henderson (Vernesa), Fredmon L. Henderson and Christopher G. Henderson (Shatiah); daughter, G. FréShé L. Sterling (Kurtis); sister, Marie Harvey; seven grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Gloria Fay Henderson.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Monday, April 4 at St. Mark Baptist Church, Little Rock. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Arrangements by Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home.
