Franklin "Frank" Filmore Newcomb, 89, of North Little Rock formerly of Scott and Bryant, died Sunday, June 12. He was born August 21, 1921, in Bigelow, Arkansas, to Cora and William Newcomb.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister and wife, Juanita. He is survived by his son, Randall and wife Cindy of North Little Rock; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister.
He was a World War II veteran and a member of All Souls Church in Scott and Indian Springs Baptist Church in Bryant.
The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff at Sherwood Retirement Center and Lakewood Nursing and Rehab for the love and care given to Frank.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Randy Jumper officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
