Frankie Ann House Jackson, 78, of Alpine, Arkansas, passed away January 4, 2024, at her home.

She was born May 4, 1945, in New Hope, Arkansas, to Wesley House and Iva Lee Craig House. 

Frankie was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Wesley Lee (Rusty) House; her great nephew, Roper Lane Halcombe and her stepmother, Doris White House.

She was known to people in the Alpine and Amity area as Aunt Frankie.  If you were a child in the late seventies, eighties, nineties and early two thousands, you may have had the privilege to have Aunt Frankie as your babysitter.  Aunt Frankie left a legacy of love and how to be a Christian to the ones that knew her.

Frankie is survived by her spouse of fifty-nine years, James Luther Jackson; her two sons and daughters-in-law: Timothy and Tammy Jackson and Matthew and Tessa Jackson; four grandchildren: Trevor and Harlie Jackson, Joey Jackson, Tiffany Jackson and Eric and Tiffany Jackson; six great grandchildren: Khloee, Rowyn, Ryder, Tucker, E.J. and A.J.; one sister and her spouse, Phyllis and Donny Cogburn; two nieces and their spouses: Misty and Dale Wright and Ashley and Micah Halcombe; two nephews; Dwight(Kendra) Weeks and Charles Ducote; two great nieces and their spouses: Kimberly Wright and Dalton Barentine and Andie and Jonathan Wheatly; two great nephews: Haygen and Cole Halcombe; three great great nieces: Echo Wright, Delilah Barentine and Lainey Wheatley; three adopted grandchildren: B.J. Bankhead, Vanessa Buck Bateman and D.J. Weeks as well as numerous other family members and lots of friends.  She will be deeply missed by those that loved and knew her. 

She was a member of Chalybeate Valley Missionary Baptist Church for fifty-nine years.  She enjoyed working in her yard, cooking and spending time with her loved ones.  After babysitting for close to thirty years, Frankie worked at Curt Bean Lumber Company in Glenwood, Arkansas, for close to ten years.  She, then, came out of retirement to babysit her great nephews and nieces.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

Frankie’s funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Brother Melvin Markham and Brother Jack Herring officiating.

Interment will follow at Coker Cemetery in Rosboro, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Trevor Jackson, D. J. Weeks, Dwight Weeks, Joey Jackson, Charles Ducote, Ken Harding, Ritchie Richardson, and Dale Richardson.
