Frankie Daugherty

Frankie Ann Daugherty passed away peacefully while surrounded by loved ones at the age of 73 on October 31st, 2016. She was born in Benoit, Mississippi, on August 20th, 1943 and was one of ten children born to Vincent Lyons and Louise Hargrove. She spent 49 years of her life faithfully and happily married to Norl Jack Daugherty, Sr., a Marine Veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, until his passing in 2009. She will now be laid to rest by his side at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She is survived by their three children: Vincent Daugherty, Angela Traxler (William Traxler), and Norl Jack Daugherty, Jr. (Rachael Daugherty) as well as her nine grandchildren: Elizabeth Taylor, Liam Daugherty, Rhys Daugherty, Hanna Greene, Neal Rollins III, Heather Rollins, Tyler Traxler, Courtney Traxler, and Travis Traxler.

She was an outstanding and beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Her love knew no bounds as she welcomed anyone into her home whether it be for a warm meal, a laugh, or motherly advice. Frankie will be remembered as a unique, one-of-a-kind woman who was as feisty and outrageously witty as she was loving and kind. She was the shining light of our family; she gave her guidance, her wisdom, and her time to any and all in need. Per her wishes, the family will have a wake in lieu of a funeral service. This will take place on Saturday, November 5th, 2016, at 624 Poplar Street, Benton, Arkansas 72105 at 1:00 P.M. All family and friends are welcome to attend. We love you, Gram.
