Frank Walter Thomas, age 64, of Black Springs, formerly of Angleton, Texas, died Friday, June 5, 2020. He was born on April 19, 1956, in Pine Bluff, the son of John Donald Thomas and Aline Galster Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Diane Thomas Cunningham and Sheila Ann Thomas; his maternal grandmother, Matilda Farr Galster; and his paternal grandmother, Ola York Thomas. Frank attended the University of Arkansas, Little Rock and later transferred to Memphis State University, where he received a Master of Science in 1988. He worked for many years as a professional geologist for Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Glenn Cunningham of Little Rock; his aunt, Colleen Galster Reaves; his uncle, Robert Galster; and his cousin, Harriet Reaves Hardin.
