Frank A. Sanchez, Jr passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015, at his home in North Little Rock, AR. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Virginia (Felan) Sanchez, daughter Veronica Moore (Scott) of Maumelle, AR, daughter Vicki Pearce (Craig) of Fayetteville, AR, grandsons Matthew and Luke Moore, Johnathon Pearce and granddaughter Katherine Pearce, sisters Alice (Sanchez) Dzuik (Lester) of San Antonio and Irene (Sanchez) Felan of San Antonio.
Frank was born in San Antonio, TX, July 17, 1943. He attended Fox Technical High School graduating in 1960. He served his country by being a member of the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War. In 1966, he began working for the Federal Aviation Administration until retiring after 32 years of service in 1998. He was a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Little Rock, AR.
Frank's greatest joy was his grandchildren and watching his grandsons playing their sports. He did not miss any activities if he could help it and he always packed his cooler with their favorite drinks and snacks.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 19th, 2015, from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., Rosary from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, North Little Rock, AR. Funeral Mass will be Monday, July 20th, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, North Little Rock, AR.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Arkansas Home Hospice especially Nikki, Mary, and Ms. Tiffany.
