Frank Martin, 95, of Little Rock died June 13, 2009. He was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi, on March 9, 1914. He was preceded in death by his parents Dr. William Frank Martin and Juanita Huggins Martin, his wife of 67 years, Elsie Irene Larsen Martin, brothers Bill Martin and Henry ''Abe'' Martin. He is survived by a son Cleve Martin (Dixie) of Sherwood; daughters Carol Duplechin (Barry) of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Jean Rosenbaum (Jerry) of North Little Rock; grandchildren Frank C. Martin, Jr (Kim)of North Little Rock, Dixie G. Walters (Lee) of Warrenton, Virginia, Allison Broussard (Greg) of Lafayette, Louisiana, John Duplechin of Houston, Texas, Cammi Landry (Cort) of Katy, Texas; six great grandchildren Hayden Martin, Haley Martin, Emmaline Walters, Rhett Walters, Brice Broussard and Rami Broussard. Frank was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Little Rock and formerly was a founding member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Springhill, Louisiana, where he was awarded the Diocesan Medal by Bishop William B. Friend in recognition of his service and many contributions to the church. Frank and Elsie moved to Parkway Village in Little Rock in July, 2002. Frank began a long career with International Paper Company at the Moss Point, Mississippi, mill on June 15, 1934, and retired in 1976 as Director of Manufacturing at the Springhill, Louisiana, mill. He served two more years as a consultant for the company. He was devoted to his family, his church, and his company and enjoyed hunting and fishing and many friendships. The family wishes to thank Dad's loving caregivers Cathy Strong and Jackie Webb for their faithful service. Mass of Christian burial will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4000 N. Rodney Parham Road, Little Rock, AR 72212 on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m, followed by a Rosary service Monday June 15, 2009, at Huson Funeral Home 7700 Hwy 107 in Sherwood.
