Francis Stracener-Hall

Francis Orell Stracener-Hall was born August 2, 1921, in Sidon, Arkansas, daughter of the late Virda and Arthur Price. She passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Orell lived at Floyd where she attended the United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Floyd Extension Homemakers Club, and worked for several years in the cafeterias for Beebe Public Schools. She cherished her many friends.

Orell is survived by her daughter, Linda Carol (Tom) of Antioch; son, Ron Stracener (Shirley) of Jacksonville; sister Melva Campbell of Beebe; stepdaughter-in-law Phyllis Hall of Floyd; stepson Darrel Hall of Antioch; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter; plus many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by husbands Alphus Stracener and Delphard Hall; her sister Mildred Watkins; brothers Opie Price and Eddie Price; stepson Bill Hall and stepdaughter-in-law Cissie Hall.

Memorials may be made to Floyd First United Methodist Church, c/o Frances Jenkins, 1125 Hwy. 305 S., Searcy, AR 72143, or Arkansas Children's Hospital, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, AR 72202.

Family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Quattlebaum Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, a certified Veterans Care provider.
