Francis "Maxine" Elliott, 78, of Cabot passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016. She was born January 21, 1938 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to the late Bruce and Irene Mitchell. She was a nursing assistant at CareLink. Maxine loved to read and watch wrestling.
She is survived by her son; Bruce Elliott (Beth), brother; Billy Mitchell (Mary Jo), sisters; Geraldine "Jeri" Higgins (Harold), Alverta Gay (the late Don), and Linda Swindell (the late Benny); grand-children, great grand-children, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Maxine was preceded in death by her husband; Robert Gordon Elliott and her son; Eugene Elliott.
Memorials may be made to Stanfill Cemetery Fund, 12905 Fortson Road, Jacksonville, 72076.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Stanfill Baptist Church.
