Francis Richard "Dick" Clemens

  Francis Richard “Dick” Clemens, 88, of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away June 23, 2022. He was born April 8, 1934 in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

  He is preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Berenice “Bunny” Clemens. Dick is survived by his children, Tracey Clemens (Jason Gregory), John Clemens (Angie Clemens), Deborah Ashmore (Robert & Kathleen Ashmore), Herald Wood (Yuni Wood) (Alana Wood), Kevin Wood, Theresa Romine (Jim Jordan), Daryl Wood (Luann Wood), Carolyn Hemker (Scott Hemker); grandchildren, Mikey DeLouis, Michelle Ashmore, Andrew Medd, Meagan Van Unen, Jenna Ashmore, Amber Van Unen, Emily & Joshua Clemens, Piper Clemens, Brittany Lee-Still, Kristin Lee, Elissa Nash (Joseph Nash), Chase Romine (Tiffany Romine), Parker Hemker, DJ Wood, Johnathan Wood and Melissa Gregory, and Gavin Ashmore; and numerous great grandchildren.

  Dick spent many years as a railroad machinist with Amtrak. In his “free time” he had a tow truck business. A lover of old cars and a Studebaker enthusiast, he was a member of the Studebaker Drivers Club. He enjoyed working on cars.

He was not a perfect man, but he was loved by many!

  A graveside service will be held at 9:00 AM, Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery (1501 W Maryland).
