Frances Young
Frances R. Young, 87, of Little Rock, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Carl and Polly Jarmon Green and was of the Baptist faith. She was an LPN, a Master Gardener, and won numerous awards for her needlepoint at the Arkansas State Fair.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold E. Young, brothers, Jack and Joe Green and sister, Carla Boyd, she is survived by her sons, Mike Young of Little Rock and Pat Young and wife, Liz of Scottsdale, Arizona; and grandson, Patrick Young, also of Scottsdale.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Dr. Bob Dunaway, followed by interment at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
