Frances Witherington

Frances Witherington age 91 of Nashville AR., formerly of Arkadelphia, died Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in Nashville. She was born August 11, 1918 in Arkadelphia the daughter of the late Frank and Beulah Henson. She retired from Sears & Roebuck Co. in Pine Bluff after over twenty-five years of service. She and her late husband, W. L. "Pete" Witherington returned to the Arkadelphia area after retirement. Frances was a member of the Third Street Baptist Church in Arkadelphia.

Survivors include one son, John Witherington and wife, Jane of Nashville, AR; one daughter, Patsy Clark and husband, Dennis of Bryant, AR; four grandchildren, David Clark, Jeff Witherington, Stacy Creek and Scott Witherington; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul Henson and one sister, Carolyn Fuller both of California.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, January 8, 2010 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Greg Latham officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
