Frances Jean Maxwell 81, Arkadelphia passed away August 25, 2019 with family and friends by her side. Frances was born November 19, 1937 to Stanley and Myrtle Peterson in Highmore, South Dakota.

Frances attended nursing school in South Dakota. She worked as a RN. at the original Clark County Hospital, did a few years at the Malvern Hospital and retired from Baptist Health Medical Center, Arkadelphia; a faithful member of 3rd Street Baptist Church, and member of Friends of Faith Sunday School. In her free time Frances loved to garden and tend to her beautiful flowers.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents, stepdaughter; Patti Ann Maxwell, and one brother Dale Peterson. Those whom will treasure her memories; her loving husband of 59 years; Carl, stepdaughter; Debra May Maxwell Portland, OR, sister; Betty Sutton, Rapid City S.D., her brother; Dean Peterson of Highmore, S.D., her loving chocolate lab; Hobo III, several nieces and nephews, and multitude of loving friends.

Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home with Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Greg Latham officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital   1 Children’s Way, Little Rock, AR. 72202 or 3rd St Baptist Church; 224 Crawford St. Arkadelphia, AR 71923.  Private internment to be at later date.
