She went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, Nov. 28 2024 at the young age of 85.

She was proceeded in death by her father Doyan Davis, mother Rachel (Furr) Jones, and her beloved husband, Charles Elton Duncan. Two grandsons, Charles Donald Davis, and Kenneth Albert Hawk, Jr. One great granddaughter, Gabrielle Elise Duncan, and one brother, Grover Dee Jones.

She is survived by her children. Daughters, Loretta Darby, Lynn Rupe, Karen Hale (Randy), and one son, James (Tracy) Duncan. Two brothers, Albert Jones and Billy Jones. One aunt, Helen Henderson. Ten grandchildren, Nineteen great grandchildren, One great-great-grandchild, and blessed with two more great-great-grandchildren to be born in early 2025. Several cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of family, and friends.

Along life's path She performed many tasks. She was a factory supervisor, truck driver, school bus driver, and a special education teacher assistant. She was a member of Orion Missionary Baptist, and a member of the Eastern Star.

She showed her talents in many hobbies including cooking, baking, and decorating cakes, sewing, crafting, and caring for members of the family, and friends in times of need.

She was an avid traveler. She was able to lay her eyes upon most of the United States, and seen other parts of the world from aboard cruise ships. Anytime, anyone was taking a trip she'd tell them to "Save me a seat, I'm going too, and I'll bring my big Rand McNally"!

She loved everyone, and will be sorely missed by all as she left her one of a kind own special mark on this earth that can not ever be replaced!

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Orion Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with interment to follow at Orion Cemetery.
