Frances Couch
Frances Smith Couch age 73 of Arkadelphia died Friday, April 27, 2007 at Baptist Health Center Arkadelphia. She was born October 25, 1932, in Ashley County, the daughter of Ruben and Adabell Haynes Smith, and was raised in Wilmot, AR.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Clark Timberlands, former member of the Extension Homemakers Club, and former member of the Clark County Fair Board and a member of Third St. Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one brother Ruben "Bud" Smith Jr., also of Wilmot.
Survivors include her husband J. W. Couch, one son Craig Couch of Bismarck, one daughter Dana Heide of Arkadelphia, two sisters Nickle Williams of Arkadelphia and Lavern Stephenson of Tuscaloosa, AL and three grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, and Alyssa Couch.
Visitation will be from 2-4 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Monday, April 30, 2007 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ellis Jones officiating.
Burial will be in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens near Arkadelphia.
