Floyd Waymire
Floyd J. Waymire was born September 18, 1932 in Beebe, Arkansas to Jesse Floyd Waymire and Lois Gertrude (Nall) Waymire and passed from this life on August 22, 2021 in Sherwood, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his father; mother; brother, Harold Waymire; daughter, Janet Greenwood; son, Steven Waymire; wife, Velma Waymire; and stepson, Norman Dye.
He is survived by two sisters, Nancy Cates-Finney and Robin Schrader-Wilson; two stepsons, William R. “Rickey” (Nancy) Dye and James David Dye; one granddaughter, Sarah Werley; six grandsons, Matthew Greenwood, Scott Dye, Bill Dye, Joshua Dye, Robert Dye, and Alan Dye; eleven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, August 27, 2021 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Stoney Point Cemetery in Beebe.
