Floyd E. Freeman age 87, of Arkadelphia died Tuesday, June 19, 2007 in Arkadelphia. He was born January 21, 1920 in Sparkman, AR., the son of Henry and Nancy Watson Freeman. Mr. Freeman was a U. S. Army veteran of WW II, a member of First Christian Church and retired Oil Company gauger. His wife, Helen Freeman preceded him in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Nancy Freeman Knippers of Hot Springs; Nannette Freeman of North Hollywood CA.; Lynda Nevins of Laguna Niguel, CA.; Jude Gilbert-Neyman of Durand, Michigan; two sisters, Florence Hill of Texas; Elsie Blevins of Washington; six grandchildren, Dave, Greg and Kevin Neyman, Michelle Heyer, Lisa Stilwagner and Nicole Freeman; ten great-grandchildren, Skylar, Cruz, Natalie, Nick, Morgan, Kyle, Cooper, Brandon, Jason and Taylor.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, June 22, 2007 in the First Christian Church with Betty McCommas officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerry Gilbert, Keith Twiggs, Billy Freeman, Geno Banks, Edgar Ball and Benny Freeman. Interment will be in Green Hills Memorial Park in Palos Verdes, California.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.
