Floyd Dale Singleton, age 79, of Pencil Bluff, died Sunday, July 12, 2015. He was born on November 1, 1935 in Oden, the son of Kirby Singleton and Clovie Fair Singleton. He was a United States Air Force veteran and retired from the Garland County Highway Department. He is survived by his wife, Jean Singleton of Pencil Bluff; his daughter, Lela Rogers of Oden; three step-children, Darlene Buchheit of Fairhope, Alabama, Laura Dickinson and Vickie Weston, both of Hot Springs; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 16, 2015, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. Bill Carter officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Pencil Bluff Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Troy Weston, Gary Buchheit, Hoot Hughes, Delton Hughes, Robin Singleton and Bill Abbott. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
