Floyd A. Crook, 79, of North Little Rock passed away Friday, November 17, 2006. He was a retired dispatcher and dock foreman in the freight industry. He was a decorated U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII and served on the YMS425. He was also a licensed pilot.
He is survived by two daughters, Melissa Serfass and husband Doug of Little Rock, Mona Crook of North Little Rock; son, Lonnie Crook and wife Kim of Houston, Texas; grandson, Zachary Crook; brother, Steve and wife Susie Crook of Mayflower; three sisters, Frances Simon of Roland, Edith Gates of Casper, Wyoming and Lottie Nixon of Odessa, Texas; sister-in-law Lillian Heath and husband Charles of North Little Rock, special friends, Lady and Captain Hook. He was preceded in death by his wife Athalene Lierly Crook .
Mr. Crook traveled the world with the Navy. He was a special one- of- a- kind man. His incredibly unique sense of humor never ceased to amaze his family and friends. He was a diehard St. Louis Cardinals fan. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Private burial.
