Floyd Cockrum

Floyd E. Cockrum, 79, of North Little Rock, was born June 30, 1927 and passed away March 1, 2007. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Floyd was a member of Primrose United Methodist Church and was retired from ABF System where he was treasurer of Teamsters Retiree Chapter from 1985 to 2001. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason at Big Rock Lodge in North Little Rock where he served as Master and treasurer of his chapter. Floyd and his wife, Maurine, loved camping and were longtime members of the Good Sam?s Whispering Pines Travelers, where he served as Wagon Master for a year.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Maurine Cockrum; two daughters, Connie Miller and Cynthia Fleming and husband, Richard, all of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Shelley Nesmith, Wesley Miller, Christopher Fleming and Victoria Woodbury; and two great-granddaughters, Brittany and Nicole Fleming.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in Pinecrest Memorial Park Gazebo with Rev. Jim Stone officiating.
