Floyce Jean Ball, born on September 3, 1938, in Strong, AR, daughter of Samuel and Mina Sisco, left this world on June 26, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and selflessness. Floyce was known for her unwavering dedication to helping others, a trait that touched the lives of many.
Her love for cooking brought joy to many, as she often spent hours preparing delicious meals for her family and friends. She was musically accomplished, learning to play the piano, guitar and accordion by ear, regularly playing in church when she was younger.
In 2016, she retired from Hair First Class in North Little Rock, where she was a receptionist and loved interacting with clients and stylists; before that, she worked at Wintemp Supply Co. in North Little Rock, and for a civilian contractor on the Little Rock Air Force Base.
Floyce is survived by her loving family: her sons Scott Ball of North Little Rock, AR, and Robin Ball and his wife Tracy Merritt of Pasadena, CA, her grandchildren Alison, Joshua and Isabel Ball, numerous nieces and nephews, and a large extended family. Although she may no longer be with them in person, Floyce's spirit of generosity and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, five brothers, and one sister.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
