Floy Mae Rogers, 89, of North Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2009. She was born on October 23, 1920 in Dardanelle, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Rogers; two daughters, Rose Alice Curtis and Caroline Curtis; three grandchildren, Dewight Curtis, Willard Rogers and Lina Rogers; and one great-granddaughter, Courtney Mae.
She is survived by four sons, James D. Rogers, Jr. of Protho Junction, Willard Rogers of Jacksonville, Philip Rogers and Benny Rogers both of North Little Rock; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; brother, John Stracencer; and a host of friends.
Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Rev. Travis Matthews of Graves Memorial Baptist Church will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Mark Curtis, Buddy Curtis, Kelly W. Tindall, Mike May, Deven Allison and Troy Cross. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
